Hello internet friends! First off, thank you so much for taking the time to read this blog! I really appreciate it and your input means a lot to us. So thanks!! I wanted to post a short one and let you all know that my blog posting will be less frequent next week. Why is this you ask? We have the the honor of shooting the wedding of Megan and Nick in San Luis Obispo this Saturday (I have been looking forward to this for a while now…PRETTY EXCITED). Then on Sunday I fly to Atlanta for a week of conferencing for my other job and I’m not sure how the internet access will be for me when I’m there. Other job? Yes, other job. Some of you may know already that I also work as HR Manager for an organization called Plant With Purpose. It’s an international non profit that does a lot of awesome stuff around the world. It is an honor and a blessing to be a part of this organization and what it is doing. Since Rico and I have been so blessed, we in turn have decided what better thing to do than bless others??!! That is why a portion of Studio Castillero profits will go to Plant With Purpose to encourage the support it gives to others world wide. So in essence, when you become a client you are partnering with us to help those who are impoverish…how sweet is that????
I will miss you all internet and I look forward to checking in with you again next Friday. I leave you with a really awesome video by Plant With Purpose, just to get a little feel for what it does. Thank you friends!!
I never thought Sea Port Village could be so cool, but this couple made it so. We walked around the shops, had margaritas and rode the carousel. I could have spent the whole day with these two! They were so at ease around each other and were fantastic with the camera. I loved their style and definitely found myself distracted by Marissa’s sweater (so cute!!!!!). I am thoroughly looking forward to their San Diego wedding in November…it is going to be one heck of a PARTY, no doubt about that. Enjoy the pics; Marissa will take your breath away.
Even their shoes were stylish!
Sometimes I wish I could be in 3 places at once….yes, they were THAT cool.
Mike, expressing his fierceness….the camera loved him!!!!
I’m so excited to post some pictures from the wedding of John and Kalida. As I mentioned in their glimpse it was a perfect setting, and I left that day feeling encouraged and excited….ALWAYS a good thing. Thanks Kalida and John for sharing your wedding day with us, it made my month!
On another note, hope you all enjoyed the holiday weekend! Did anyone else eat enough chocolate to last you until next Easter? I sure did…AND it continues today with my Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs and my Starbucks Carmel Macchiato Truffles.
loving the palm tree
There were so many bridesmaids (9)! I just love this picture and how they are all kind of doing their own thing…there I am on the right trying to organize them all…so fun.
