BRAD lauren
Well, it’s Friday so I know I have a bunch of happy readers on my hands today. Well, your day is about to get happier, because do I have a fabulous shoot for you. We recently had the opportunity to shoot and engagement session in downtown San Diego with our new friends Lauren and Brad. They were referred to us for their December 31st wedding by my high school friend Michele Woodcock, who happens to be a FANTASTIC wedding coordinator here in San Diego. I highly recommend her and think you should check out here site HERE, seriously, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
When we met with Lauren and Brad I knew we’d be a match right away. They booked with us and three days later we found ourselves running around the gaslamp where they live, shooting their engagement photos. I know I say this a lot, but oh man, what an attractive couple we’ve got here! Seriously, it was really hard to narrow down the pictures because of how hot these two are! We also had a blast just hanging out with them, which made me EVEN MORE excited for their wedding that is taking place at the Omni Hotel. I can’t think of a better way to spend our New Years celebration than shooting the wedding of these two (oh, and DANCING of course…very important part of any New Years party/wedding). Brad and Lauren you truly are a beautiful couple and I can’t wait to spend New Years with you as you join your lives together!

I LOVE Lauren’s smile….

In front of the Omni where they are getting married.

I know this one’s a little different, but I love it so I had to include it. I love how Lauren looks like she’s straight out of a magazine.

They had this SWEET old elevator in their apartment building, we couldn’t pass that up!

JEFF melissa {glimpse}
Happy Monday my friends! And a happy Monday it is! Why you ask? Well, I’m on vacation! Just chillin in Palm Desert for the next three days….give me a pool and a margarita and I’m set. I don’t even mind the 110 degree temperature. Even though I’m here working on my tan, I couldn’t let my Monday posts slide! So I thought I’d share a little glimpse from the wedding of Jeff and Melissa that we shot this last Saturday. I will save the details for later, BUT I will say, it was a beautiful Saturday at Hospitality Point in Mission Bay. We also had the opportunity to work with our favorite videographer,Tom Ohara from Aqua Vivus Productions. He collaborated with us on busting out a BLOW YOUR MIND AWESOME same day edit that we showed at the reception (guests were in tears, SUCCESS….happy tears of course). I will be posting that on the blog hopefully soon so keep checking back, it will be TOTALLY worth it. Alright, I hear a lounge chair calling my name, so I’ll leave you with the pictures. Jeff and Melissa, we adore you and we hope (we know!) you’re relaxing in Australia right this moment! Enjoy!

MATT elena
Recently we had the opportunity to spend a few hours with Elena and Matt…and a fantastic few hours they were! This couple made our job easy….so much fun to be around, happy and enjoying each other, and didn’t complain once about how hot it was (and it was HOT on that bridge!!!). You can’t even tell right? That’s how great these two were. Before their engagements we hadn’t spent much time with them, so it was a pleasure getting to know them. We found this SWEET bridge in our neighborhood that we have been dying to try out (go Bankers Hill!), and then we headed over to the stadium to get some shots (they are big Red Sox fans…gasp! I know…they aren’t San Diego natives so cut them some slack…Matt DID say though that he likes the Padres!). I could go on and on about how adorable this couple is, but I’ll let the pictures do the talking. HOWEVER, I can’t help but mention how BEAUTIFUL Elena is, seriously. Her dark hair and her eyes are breathtaking….You’re a lucky man Matt (although I’m sure you knew that already)!
Elena and Matt, you two are so much fun to be around, and a joy to work with! I wish your wedding wasn’t a YEAR AWAY, that’s ok though we’ll get to work a lot together before then (we’re doing save the dates, invitations, and all other print materials for their wedding). Darlingtion House, July 2010…here we come!
Oh and did I mention I liked her smile too? Well, I do, very very much.

I love this picture of Matt, so cool, so handsome!

See!!! What did I tell you? LOOK AT HER EYES! I could die.

I love how this picture shows how happy they are to be together, LOVE IT!

When we imported this picture it was upside down, and we liked it, so we thought we’d leave it…shake things up a bit!

At the ball park!

I love this picture…Don’t mess with the Red Sox! Well, that and they look like models, which always makes me smile.

Green is Elena’s favorite color…..Elena, this picture’s special just for you!
