So it’s Monday again, and I have returned from the wedding weekend of one of my best friends. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding, and was actually in front of the camera (gasp!). It was a great weekend in San Fran and I’ll be posting some video from the wedding soon……now onto the real Monday post….
Last weekend was the lovely wedding of Amanda and Paul. You may remember them from their recent engagement session that took place in Pasadena. We love this couple, they are so much fun to be around and the way they love each other is beautiful. The wedding took place at Coyote Hills Country Club in Fullerton…it was a little hot, but the wedding went smoothly and was stunning. We also got the chance to work with one of our favorite videographers, Tom Ohara from Aqua Vivus Productions, which always makes for a fantastic time! (if you haven’t heard of him, go to his site…he’s awesome!). SO, this post is just a little glimpse to get you excited for the longer post of their wedding that is still to come, so I won’t give away too many of the details just yet. Enjoy the little glimpse and stay tuned for a more thorough post of their wedding (you won’t want to miss it, I promise).
oh, and on an unrelated note, I’ve been meaning to let you all know (in case you didn’t already) that I am indeed on facebook and would LOVE to be your friend. SO, add me! HERE, RIGHT HERE! While you’re at it, you can just go ahead and find me on twitter as well, why not right? TWITTER ME HERE
Monday Monday Monday! Have I got a good one for you today? Yes I do! Meet Amber and Tyler….an adorable couple who are getting married here in San Diego in November. We met up with them on Thursday afternoon for their engagement session and had a fantastic time. Tyler and Rico have been friends for several years now, so it’s such a joy to be a part of their wedding and to also spend a little time with Amber (who, btw, is beautiful…OMG her hair, her eyes! Can we be best friends Amber? ok ok I know we just met, so perhaps best friend status should come later)! ANYWAYS, they are such a great pair, and I must say, I’m kinda a big fan. AND they brought their dog to the shoot, which always steals my heart. Ok internet, check out this couple below and I BET you’ll find yourself saying “awwwweeeee,” yes, they are that cute. Tyler and Amber, can’t wait to have dinner soon and to shoot your wedding in November!
What did I tell you? Beautiful
Series shot!!!
And this is Bailey, stick catching extraordinaire!
Her hair! The light! I love this picture, even if I am in the background….
Laughing at my jokes? hmmmm……. (those who have shot with us before know how great my jokes are…right? RIGHT?!)
Yes, quite the lookers these two….here are those eyes I was telling you about.
A month or so ago I mentioned to you that Rico had worked on a documentary video with one of our grooms, Jeff Durkin (aka. BreadTruck Films). The documentary was about Johnathan Segal, an architect here in SD that pretty much rocks it, yes, yes he does. He designed and is currently building the Q which you might have seen in Little Italy (it’s hard to miss). Well, I never posted the final video that was featured at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla. Couldn’t make it to the museum to see the exhibit? No problem, just watch it below. Also, wanted to include this sweet picture that Rico took of the Q, because, well, it’s awesome! Good job Rico and Jeff….looking forward to seeing more of your collaborations! (also looking forward to your wedding this month Jeff, but that’s a different subject so I’ll mask my excitement for this post…two more weeks!!!!!!).
