Engagement 09.03.2009 PAUL amanda

Hello internet friends! Do you love me today or what?? You’ll love me even more once you see the pictures below. A couple of weeks ago we spent some time with Paul and Amanda (yes, we have another couple with the same names…equal in their fabulousness of course). We were booked already for their October wedding, but we had the pleasure of shooting their engagements for them anyways! Paul and Amanda were so fun to be around and I especially loved hearing the story of how they fell in love. They were friends for years, then decided to move to San Diego together from the East Coast (as friends) then somewhere in Arizona it occurred to them that they just might be falling in love. SO GREAT RIGHT? Obviously, I’m just giving you the summary but if you want to know more perhaps you should leave them some love in the comments section and persuade them to be your friends….it’s worth it, I promise.

First we hit up the Spruce Street Bridge in Bankers Hill which I never knew about until they showed us and you could say I was pretty pleased (jumping up and down pleased…just ask Rico). They like to do a lot of hiking and outdoors activities so we headed up to Sunrise Highway for the last half of our shoot and the light was DELICIOUS, seriously, the best. Beautiful meadow, stunning subjects, a dress from Anthropologie (hey, I’m just saying!)…what more could a photographer ask for? Thank you Amanda and Paul for doing your engagement session with us, we wish you the best in your upcoming marriage and definitely let me know next time you go sledding!
