Welcome back to the beginning of the week my friends! I hope you all enjoyed the weekend as much as I did. We had the opportunity to photograph not one, but TWO fabulous San Diego weddings this weekend, and even though I find myself a bit on the tired tired side today it’s a happy tired (coffee makes it even happier). To help you start out your week on the right foot I have the engagement session of Sarah & Mike to share with you today. These two, I’m telling you, SO PHOTOGENIC! I don’t think it’s even POSSIBLE for Sarah to take a bad picture. Don’t believe me? See below! We spent several hours in downtown San Diego with these two for their engagement session and then ended the day at Balboa Park. We had such a great time with them and when it was done, I found myself wishing that their vineyard wedding would be sooner than next July (I LOVE vineyard weddings, yes I do). Sarah and Mike, you’re awesome and beautiful AND master wedding planners (pretty much all of their planning is done)!!! May these next months of preparation go smoothly for you and I can’t wait to work with you again very soon! Enjoy!
Hello to you all on this fine Thursday. I have something special to share with you today. As you may have noticed, we’ve been showcasing a lot of videos lately. That’s because, well, we love them! Thanks to the fabulous Tom O’Hara from AquaVivus Productions, who we’ve partnered with to give our clients these fusion videos of still images and video (Tom does the video, we take care of the stills). Every time we have a client that books us both we pretty much throw a party because he is such a blast to work with and we’re able to take a trip to the “collaboration station” (I know, hello CHEESY….couldn’t help myself, it’s almost Friday people!!!!!).
SO, it is my pleasure to share with you the wedding of a couple I ABSOLUTELY adore. Emily and Tyler are currently on some beach drinking margaritas, so they’re probably not reading this (if you are, no internet allowed on your honeymoon!!!!), so I won’t spend too much time gushing about how much I love them. Don’t you worry, we’ll have another post of just their pictures in the future where I can go into all the details. We shot their wedding in Carmel, CA last weekend and it was quite the wedding, a little bit of country and a little bit of beach, it was perfectly them. Emily and Tyler, you’re some of the most welcoming people I know and an absolute JOY to be around (and eat chocolate malts with). I hope you’re having a blast getting tan and I promise we’ll get together in San Francisco when you get back. Much love to you all internet and enjoy the adorableness that is Emily & Tyler (Chappy).
ps. let the video load all the way before you watch it (push play then pause and put on the patience hat. Go get some coffee, send an email…possibly to me? When you come back it will be ready for you. It’s WELL WORTH IT, I promise).
Is it really Monday again? I must admit, it’s a tired one for me. We were in Carmel last week and then came home to an engagement session, maternity shoot, and then a trash the dress. Then on Friday my sister gave birth to her first child Adalyn Grace (two weeks early!). So even though I find myself on the tired side today, it was well worth it because this weekend was fabulous. I love newborns…how can you not?? I especially love this newborn (I’m biased)….just look at her though, hard not to! So today this blog post is going to be on the personal side as I introduce to you my beautiful niece Adalyn Grace. Sarah and Jon, I’m so proud of you, so proud of your strength and endurance and I know you’ll be amazing parents. I love you!
(stay tuned to the blog this week internet….we have some pretty awesome stuff to show you this week. Extra blog love because well, I love you all!)
