Happy happy Monday to you all! I am going to be such a blog post writing slacker today and make this short. The reason being that I’m up to my neck in emails, some seriously hanging out in swamped land, and don’t want to keep my peeps waiting too long! I’m sure you understand…I will make it up to you with posting something pretty fabulous. I have Irene and Pete’s engagement session to share with you today! I seriously kind of have a crush on this couple, they are that ADORABLE. They drove down from LA for their engagement session a few weeks ago and spent a few hours running around San Diego with us. They have so much fun together and really enjoy each other’s presence (Marios Bros medley, nuf said). As we were wrapping up the shoot, Irene busted out her SWEET mint green dress for the final e-sesh outfit. I was in love, it’s true. All that tulle! Trust me, you’ll be in love too. Don’t believe me? Just see below. Irene and Pete, we adore you and can’t wait for your LA wedding in June! MUAH!
OOOOOH, and also. I can’t forget some of the best news. We did an e.MOTION video with this couple as well! So to view the video just scroll down and it’s at the end of the post. Remember to push play and then pause and let it load for optimal viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
Happy Thursday my fine friends! I’m going to make this short because I already gave you the low down on this adorable couple last week. However, with their wedding coming up this Sunday I couldn’t resist sharing their e.MOTION video with you…LOVE IT. So, I’ll leave you to the awesomeness that is Jenny and David while I count down the hours until their wedding (78 hours to go)!
Also, as always I’d like to thank Tom from AquaVivus for the video portion and for putting all this awesomeness together!!
Happy Monday to you all my internet friends! I had a great weekend with three awesome engagement sessions, one of which was an e.MOTION with Mr. Tom from Aqua Vivus Productions and we all know that e.MOTION + Tom = good times. I seriously cannot wait to show it to you but we’ll have to hold off a bit so we can perfect it. HOWEVER, I have something just as good to show you! We recently did an e.MOTION version of a trash the dress so today not only do you get stills but you get some video as well! Who loves you?
So I know I’ve written about Caren and Jesse several times before and you feel like they are old friends, so I won’t go on and on about how great they are because that has already been established, but seriously they are amazing. We shot their adorable wedding at the Thursday Club in August and then scheduled a Trash the Dress afterwards. For the session we started in Mission Hills where we all live and had a some fun with the flower wall, then afterwards headed to a more natural setting at one of our favorite parks with the BEST WEEDS EVER….who’d of though that dried up weeds could be so photogenic! After we wrapped everything up we made a quick stop for some dinner at Lucha Libre in Mission Hills, because quite frankly, it is the best….and who doesn’t want to eat there in their wedding dress? Well, they were so kind to let us take some shots in their “winner’s booth” and then let us use their masks as props (Thank you Lucha Libre for flexibility and AWESOME burritos!). So all in all, this shoot was not only visually amazing with such a beautiful couple, it was an absolute blast complete with laying in the street, hanging with Tom, mexican food, and luchador masks.
So with that I’ll leave you with the pictures and the e.MOTION video at the end. Remember to hit play then pause and let the bar load all the way to the right for optimal viewing pleasure. Thanks friends! We love you all!
Ps. Comment if you want to make my day, because it’s Monday and everyone needs a little cheer on Monday right? (oh and warning, beware of Nacho Libre quotes…Best.Movie.Ever. Are you with me? Well, maybe not the best, but close!)
Check out the fabulous tall weeds! See what I was talking about?
my favorite!
And now for the winner’s booth!
“something good inside me helps me carry on, I ate some bugs, I ate some grass, I used my hand to wipe my tears, to kiss your mouth. I break my vows, no no no no no no way Jose.”
Rico, Jesse and Tom in all their luchador glory… “When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room. It’s for fun.”
Ok, so now for some e.MOTION goodness and a little more Caren and Jesse love….again, special thanks to Tom and his video skills! Our love for you is so great Tom. Enjoy!
